Choosing a juicer is like choosing a tool. If you want to hammer a nail you will choose a hammer, etc. It is the same with juicers, you must know what you want from a juicer.
At the moment the market is full of different juicers, some better for fruit juices, others to vegetable juices, etc.
There are no perfect juicers to make them all and be cheap, so you must choose the perfect juicer for your needs.
Before you buy a juicer think about the qualities that you want it to fulfill. For example:
- noise – how loud is
- ease of cleaning – how easy is to clean
- speed juicer – how quickly squeeze the juice
- warranty
- types of products that can be juiced – what fruits and vegetables you can squeeze
- extended functionality – can be used for other purposes (puree, paste)
- juice quality
- reliability – how fast can damage
There are several kinds of juicing, but I will present only four of them.
So if you have a low budget and you drink only simple citrus juice then the citrus juicer would be the right choice for you.
Advantages:
- very low price juicer
Disadvantages:
- Only Citrus Squeeze
- Relatively fragile
Centrifugal juicers are the most popular juicers and work like washing machines.
I recommend these juicers for those who matter the spin speed and little budget, those who do not drink juice every morning, but only occasionally.
Advantages:
- The price is relatively low
- High-speed juicer
- Some juicers have big mouth food (fruits should not be cut into small pieces)
Disadvantages:
- Produce quite a lot of foam
- Do not do a very good job with hard fruits and vegetables
- Screen quite difficult to clean
- Make a big noise
Of course, there are also models that are really good and I recommend them.
Masticating juicers works at low speeds of rotation and makes a very good quality juice. These are strong juicers and the juice is delicious and keeps nutritional qualities. I recommend it for those who drink juice every morning, for those who wish to pursue courses of detox juices, for those who want a juice full of vitamins and enzyme and for those who matters more than the speed of extracting, juice quality.
Advantages:
- Produce quality juice, full of vitamins and enzymes
- Produces a larger amount of juice compared to other juicers
- Squeeze hard fruits and vegetables
- Not noisy
- No parts that wear out quickly
- Has other functions (smoothies, pasta, sorbet)
Disadvantages:
- Low-speed juicer
- Small feeding tube
- Do not squeeze herbs
Triturating juicer is the best on the market, the best fruit juices to best grass juice. I recommend it for those who want to invest in a new lifestyle based on healthy juices and for those who want a high-quality juice, full of vitamins and enzymes.
Advantages:
- Produce quality juice, full of vitamins and enzymes
- Produces a larger amount of juice compared to other juicers
- Squeeze hard fruits and vegetables
- Not noisy
- No parts that wear out quickly
- Has other functions (smoothies, pasta, sorbet)
Disadvantages:
- Low-speed juicer
- Small feeding tube
- Require a greater force to push the fruit
- Relatively high price
These are my recommendations but, of course, each one of us chooses what suits for them.
